Online sources for TIGER Line files for other states

The following are sources for TIGER line files for states other than Illinois. Please let us know of other sources, or if a source disappears. Primarily we are trying to keep track of sources for TIGER Line in its original format, but at the bottom of this list we will list other (free) sources for processed TIGER files. Many of the other states have asked us to point at their home pages, as they are more stable than the actual TIGER location. Where possible, we have noted in parenthesis the item that points toward the TIGER files. Unless noted, all counties for a state should be available.

TIGER Line Files, original format:

• TIGER/Line '95 data in Shapefile format for the entire United States is now available to download at NO COST from ESRI's ArcData Online web site.
• California.
• Delaware.
• Pennsylvania, Philadelphia County only (under "Pick-ups", or download directly at tgr42101.zip).
• Washington (under "Census Data", then "Index", then TIGER).

TIGER Line Files, other format:

• Oregon, Arc/Info export format.
• Nebraska, Arc/Info export format (under "Spatial/GIS Databases").
• Missouri at the Mo Spatial Data Center's ftp server, as Arc/Info export format (e00). See the "readme.doc" file on the ftp server for more information.
